A Poem is a Lovely Ambiguity
A Poem is a lovely ambiguity
which casts away solemn certitude
and offers a touch of mystery
to hint at a new attitude.
The gift offered by this gathering of words
invites our growing wisdom to discern
to sift among the feelings stirred
for insight grown or lessons learned.
Finding The Gift
The Love of God is strong
within each of us
in some, it is still a box
tightly closed and wrapped.
when we unwrap it
and expose it to the air
it bursts into light-giving
life-giving flames
that neither consume nor burn us
but fuel us for life.
