Mary Beben is a presider for a small faith community
in Burke, Virginia and serves as a spiritual director and
counselor. She is currently studying full-time for her degree
in psychology and women’s spirituality.
She counts among her greatest blessing
her 41 year marriage to her husband, Joseph,
with whom she has raised six children and with whom
she has also traveled the world in the service of the U.S. Military.
She has spent her life studying theology and spirituality and developing
methods to help awaken the people of God to their full inheritance of God’s
kingdom/queendom among us.
Bridget Mary Meehan, a Sister for Christian Community (SFCC)
holds a doctorate in ministry from Virginia Theological Seminary
and a Master of Arts degree in Spirituality
from the Catholic University of America.
She is a spiritual director, conference speaker, retreat director,
workshop leader and consultant in women’s spirituality in Europe
and the United States.
She is the author of eighteen books, including
The Healing Power of Prayer (Liguori Publications)
Exploring The Feminine face of God, Delighting (National Catholic Reporter),
Heart Talks with Mother God, (Liturgical Press),
Heart Talks with Mother God, and Praying With Women of the Bible (Liguori Triumph).
She is a producer and host of Godtalk,
a new cable TV program that aims to nurture the soul,
heal the heart, expand consciousness, transform lives,
and inspire believers of all faiths.
Dr. Meehan offers a visionary approach to wholeness
and healing for women and men as disciples of Jesus
and equals in the contemporary world.
She also coordinates a Women Eucharist group in Northern virginia
and is the president of The Federation of Christian Ministries.
